Villa Casa do Sul is a wonderful luxury holiday villa exclusively offered by SpringVillas, located in Praia da Galé (Galé beach), a small, calm and quiet village just a few kilometres west of Albufeira. Built in 2009, the villa has a very contemporary design with clean modern lines, while inside you will find a beautiful blend between that modern architecture and some delightful vintage touches.

Everything within walking distance

This is a truly privileged location, combining the closeness of the beach with the closeness of the restaurants, shops, cafés and bars of the village. Everything is within walking range - the beach is just 500 metres away, the supermarket 400 metres away, and some restaurants only 150 to 300 metres away.

Four en-suite bedrooms across two floors

The villa offers 4 spacious bedrooms, all en-suite, set across two floors and sleeping up to 8 guests in standard configuration - up to 12 with the addition of extra beds. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning and automatic shutters, and a social WC on the ground floor adds extra convenience for daytime use.

Outdoor living - heated pool, dining & garden

Outside, an outdoor heated swimming pool reaching up to 30°C is surrounded by a deck floor and natural grass, with 8 individual chaise lounges and a lounge area with chairs and table. A covered outdoor dining area with a fixed charcoal BBQ completes the setting for long Algarve evenings, while the garden areas with grass fields and various trees and plants add a touch of nature to the grounds.

Entertainment for the whole family

Among its many entertainment options, Villa Casa do Sul features a dedicated pool table room, a table tennis table, a foosball table and a games table, plus 2 men's, 2 women's and 2 kids' bicycles - ideal for exploring the surrounding village.

Beautiful well equipped villa

Our family of five adults and two infants thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the start of June. We were warmly met by Joao, who showed us around and was attentive throughout our stay. The villa is well-equipped and we were able to self-cater easily. It was fabulous to have a bathroom for each bedroom, and the added bonus of the pool table upstairs, and table-tennis and mini-football in the basement.

Pool was a great temperature for the kids which meant it was our main entertainment on the holiday.

Local supermarket is lovely though pricey and the three restaurants on the beach all provided good food at reasonable prices with amazing fish!

Would highly recommend. We got around easily without a car as Uber is cheap and readily available. We brought our own infant seat which helped, though some taxis and Ubers do have them.

We spent ten days in this villa in February, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The villa itself is stunning, featuring four luxurious bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The spacious living room is complemented by a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen. The pool is fantastic, and even in February, with air temperatures ranging between 15 and 20°C, the water was maintained at a comfortable 30°C.

The villa is situated in a peaceful area, yet is conveniently close to several restaurants and supermarkets. The service was excellent. We were warmly welcomed by a friendly member of staff. One day we hired a chef through Springvillas, who came to prepare a selection of delicious Portuguese tapas – a truly memorable experience.

The villa is set in a picturesque region, boasting an astonishing coastline, rich cultural life, and excellent shopping facilities. We visited during the off-season, but the weather was very pleasant, reminiscent of spring or early summer in northern Europe, where we live. Highly recommended!

Amazing spacious Villa with fabulous pool

Myself and my family had an amazing stay at Villa Casa Do Sul. It’s a very spacious and well set out villa with 4 separate double bedrooms all with their own bathrooms. It had everything we needed and was a short walk to the beach, supermarket and a few bars/restaurants. It was a short drive away approx 10mins by taxi to a livelier Albufeira old town costing (8-12 euros). It also had aircon & security black out blinds in every bedroom and a safe in the bedroom up stairs. Three of the bedrooms were on the ground floor & led directly onto the patio & Swimming pool area where we had 8 sunbeds to lie on. There was a pool table on the 2nd floor and table tennis, football table and bikes all in the basement which was ideal for family competitions and family bike rides.

I could go on about this Villa as it had so many lovely features & qualities. I don’t think we would get another Villa like it that suited myself and my families needs so well.

It is a beautifully maintained Villa and the staff at Spring Villas were so helpful from the minute we booked our stay until the minute we left. The communication with them was excellent throughout our stay. They are a very professional company and we will definitely be recommending this company to family and friends. We will also be looking at booking through them next year.

We had an amazing stay at Casa Do Sul. The villa is well maintained and the staff at spring villas were so helpful from the minute we booked our stay til the minute we left. SpringVillas I would recommend that you let your customers know that maintenance is being carried out with a simple text we had workmen show up on 3 days without notice when we were having our breakfast outside and it would of been nice to be informed. The bikes were great but could not really use them as there was no locks for them and we were afraid if they were stolen we would have to pay to replace them. So maybe for future guests you could buy some? Everything else was amazing and we look forward to returning to Portugal next year and booking another amazing SpringVillas villa.

We had an amazing stay for a week with our whole family. The house is amazing with excellent amenities within the house and nearby with restaurants and grocery shops and the beach within walking distance. The pool

Was heated which amazing. It was all incredibly clean and the lovely team had done a small shop for us so we had everything we needed when we arrived late. Also all the bedrooms have black out shutters which made it an amazing place to stay with a toddler or baby for naps. Can’t recommend it enough.

We stayed here for 3 nights in November. It was absolutely perfect. We had a mixed group-my husband and I and our 8 year old...both of her (Website hidden by Airbnb) husbands sister and her 18 month old, and my moms second husband. We asked springvillas for the villa that was walking distance to some restaurants and bars and things to do-they delivered! This is a great location and a fabulous house! Every bedroom has its own bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and there’s even a dryer. We had a great time! Thank u SpringVillas for a great house that allowed us to relax and have a “home base” :)

We have just returned from a week at villa casa du Sol. We were a little disappointed on first seeing the main living area as it appeared smaller and little less attractive to the photos, but once we settled in, we were very comfortable and the space was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 3 children. It was spotless and very well stocked with all you need to enjoy the villa inside and the pool is just Fab. We swam every day...and night . I felt some of the furniture was a little tired and the mat in living area very slippery on the concrete floor. BBQ and parasols might need a little TLC. The villa is beautiful but could benefit with few tweaks. Staff were great to deal with and very helpful. Definitely recommend this villa for family holiday.

Dear Bernie, we really appreciate your honest and detailed review.

We'd just like to point out that this villa has vintage furniture as seen in the pictures and as mentioned on the villas' description, so it becomes expected that such kind of furniture may present a mixture of natural wear and character. Nonetheless, we always pay attention to any furniture that needs replacement for any functional reason or for being beyond natural wear which we believe it was not the case.

Despite BBQ and parasols are checked regularly and fixed or replaced whenever necessary, after a few months of use they may present some natural signs of wear because of the heat that the BBQ is subject to and because of the wind, rain and sun that the parasols are also subject to.

Regarding the mats, the floor is made of stroked concrete which can make some kind of materials that are on top of it a bit more slippery than usual, like mats. We've tried different solutions but unfortunately none is perfect so over the years we have been reducing the quantity of mats laying around the villa to mitigate this situation. This becomes a delicate exercise of balancing the need of decoration, the functionality and any safety issue.

Once again, thank you very much for your constructive review as it always help us delivering the best we can.

Just back from a great holiday. Stayed in Villa Casa do sul which was ideal for six adults and one six-year-old. The villa is beautiful , very spacious and the layout allows for everyone to have their own space. It is well equipped and has all the mod cons. The pool is a good size and heated. The villa enjoys a great location being situated in a quiet area just a short stroll to the beach, restaurants, bars and supermarket.

Every thing you need to enjoy your stay has been thought of, the pool table, table tennis table, table football and bikes are all a plus factor.

Check in and check out are well managed and we hope to return one day.

A fab villa which I will recommend to family and friends.

We loved staying here - great kitchen, living area and bedrooms! Plenty of storage and very good management. We were two families with two 6 year olds and a 4 year old. All were thrilled - we swam in the pool every day which was heated to a very comfortable temperature, enjoyed Daily walks to the beach, and great local restaurants. We are looking forward to coming back!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Casa Do Sul. The house is big, clean and comfortable. The kids loved playing in the heated pool. That's where they spent most of their time. The cable TV was great when it was raining outside. The games room is great for older kids or grown ups.

It would have been nice to have some toys for the younger children.

We bought some inflatable pool toys and pool balls. We left them behind for other guests to enjoy. Hopefully the management keeps them at the villa.

It would also have been nice to have some plastic plates, bowels and cups for the younger children so that the parents don't have to constantly worry about possible breakage. This only costs a few Euros but makes it so much easier and relaxing for the guests.

The villa is very close to a beautiful beach with restaurants. It also has a convenient store right behind the house and a good supermarket just a few minutes walk away which makes it all so easy.

We had a fantastic time at the villa and definitely recommend it to everyone.

Me and my family had a great stay at Villa Casa du Sol. Villa was large, clean and nicely decorated; pool was heated to a good temperature, the facilities were great (me and my brothers players lots of games of pool and table tennis) and most of all, the proximity to the beach (incredible coastline) and supermarket made everything very convenient. I would recommend this villa to any family or group of friends who are looking for a relaxing time in great surroundings - me and my family would definitely come back in the future.

My impression of Spring Villas in general was extremely positive way before we even arrived. My daughter requires oxygen and medical support and Miguel and Amelie were so helpful in providing us with names, numbers and locations of appropriate places should there be an emergencies. It made us feel so safe about the holiday knowing that they would help us if there were any difficulties. Emails were always responded to within 24 hours. The place itself was amazing. We loved the fact that the 3 ground floor bedrooms all had French windows out to the pool area. The house is so light and airy - it gives such a happy vibe.

We spent wonderful time at this villa, where we planned to stay for a month, but extended until March as we were 100% satisfied.

The house is modern and bright, comfortable, with well equipped kitchen.

House is cleaned every week and the hosts were very kind.

The area is quiet and safe, and there is a best supermarket Apolonia only 400 m away.

We discovered the area of Praia da Gale, a wonderful beach with a long wooden boardwalk along it, with marvelous smell of local vegetation and lake full of birds.

We decided to settle down in Algarve, which we visited several times before, but discovered it from a new side after stay in this wonderful villa.

What a beautiful villa - photos didn't lie! The plus point for us was that three of the bedrooms were all on the ground floor so, once inside the villa (beware, there are a number of steps up to the front door), my disabled mother could move around easily and not feel isolated from the rest of the party.

We had a very warm welcome from Miguel and his mother who had kindly done a little shopping for us, as we were arriving so late and also brought us a beautiful cake half way through the week for my mother's burthday.

The villa is very well located for beaches. The local supermarket, is a little on the dear side (think Waitrose) but there is a huge Continente at Algarve shopping which is 10-15 minutes away.

if you fancy a pizza, I can highly recommend Bellavita which is just a couple of minutes walk away.

Well what can I say. Another Jem of a villa. Having already stayed in Alvor Gardens we thought we would try another villa of theirs. We were highly impressed. Very quiet location with everything you need on your doorstep. Highlight of the holiday was a meal out in Vila Joya which is a ten minute walk max from the villa. It is also the 22nd best restaurant in the world with two Michelin stars. The villa was everything we wanted and more. Thank you for having us x

Another jewel in the family Silva's crown. A modern villa that is architecturally perfect and an ideal fusion of minimalism with all home comforts. The pool is perfect, too.

We immediately felt at home and the welcome was warm and genuine with a topical Easter cake and a bottle of port.

The villa is furnished with carefully chosen artefacts from around the world. There are vintage pieces in most rooms and an eclectic collection of clocks in the garage.

You can play pool, table tennis or table football. Bikes are on hand if you fancy a ride around the lanes. The beach is only a five minute walk and has a good selection of beach bars.

For those missing Waitrose, there is an Apolonia supermarket just five minutes away.

It is ideally located for travelling throughout the Algarve, and shopping centres at Guia and Portimao are only 10 and 25 minutes' drive away.

In summary, a superb villa that is high-end and very highly recommended.
