A moradia está elegantemente distribuída por dois pisos com 6 quartos - 5 en-suites e 1 quarto twin - e 6 casas de banho mais um WC de serviço, acomodando confortavelmente 12 hóspedes em configuração padrão ou até 16 com camas extra. A principal área de estar é um espaço amplo e elegantemente decorado, com sofás confortáveis, televisão de ecrã plano, lareira e mesa de snooker - perfeito para serões em conjunto em qualquer época do ano. Uma espaçosa sala de jantar completa os espaços sociais. A cozinha está totalmente equipada para estadias em regime de self-catering. Uma lavandaria separada completa as comodidades práticas. O ar condicionado cobre toda a moradia.

Piscina aquecida, jacuzzi e entretenimento exterior

No exterior, uma piscina exterior aquecida (14×5m, profundidade 0,5-2m, até 30°C) é rodeada por relvado natural e espreguiçadeiras individuais. Uma esplanada coberta com churrasqueira a carvão situa-se diretamente junto à piscina, ideal para refeições ao ar livre ao longo do verão algarvio. Uma plataforma de deck em madeira acolhe um jacuzzi exterior aquecido com capacidade para 5 a 6 hóspedes a até 38°C - o local perfeito para relaxar após um dia de praia. Os jardins estendem-se pelo lote de 3.200m² com amplas áreas de relvado, palmeiras, plantas ornamentais e um parque infantil.

Ginásio privado, bicicletas e atividades ao ar livre

A Villa Solar do Mar é uma das poucas moradias de férias no Algarve com ginásio privado totalmente equipado, incluindo passadeira, máquina elíptica, bicicleta estacionária, equipamento de musculação e sacos de boxe. Para atividade ao ar livre, estão disponíveis bicicletas para explorar a deslumbrante costa diretamente da porta da moradia. Uma mesa de ping-pong completa as opções de entretenimento para famílias e grupos de todas as idades.

A passos da praia numa zona costeira de prestígio

A localização da moradia é um dos seus maiores trunfos. A Praia da Senhora da Rocha, a Praia da Cova Redonda e a Praia Nova ficam a apenas 800 metros - uma curta caminhada por um encantador percurso costeiro. Armação de Pêra (com a sua ampla praia de areia, restaurantes e comércio) fica a apenas 2km, e a moradia está perfeitamente situada no coração do Algarve. O carro não é estritamente necessário: praias, supermercado, restaurantes e cafés ficam todos a distância a pé. O Salgados Golf Course fica a 9km, com mais três campos a menos de 15 minutos.

Had wonderful stay at The villa Solar we were a family of 8 adults and 7 children ranging in ages from 6 months to 10years

The property was beautiful, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The location was excellent, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor space . The Spring Villas team were excellent and responsive to every request.

There are just a couple of small suggestions that could make the experience even better for future .

we would recommend a mid Week cleaning service and a gas Bbq These were only minor points and

didn't take away from what was an excellent stay.

Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely consider returning. Thank you.

Solar Do Mar - 5 star Villa and company!

We stayed at the villa for 6 nights over the Easter holidays. We were a family of 9 and the space for us was perfect. The location was amazing, only 10 minutes walk to the beach, a couple of bars and some very nice restaurants. The supermarket was a further couple of minutes away. From first contact with Spring Villas we couldn’t have been more impressed, they were absolutely first class. Any queries or issues were dealt with so courteously and promptly. The villa itself was very clean, incredibly well stocked and the views were fantastic. All the bedrooms were spacious and had plenty of storage. The kitchen had huge amounts of crockery, cutlery etc. We loved playing pool and cards in the evenings, it was such a sociable space. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both the accommodation and Spring Villas to family and friends. A wonderful time had by all, Thank you!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this villa! It’s stunning in every way—beautifully designed, immaculate, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. We were a group of nine, and there was more than enough space, kitchen equipment, and seating for everyone to feel completely comfortable.

The service from SpringVillas was outstanding. Even during our stay, they supported us with fantastic excursion suggestions and responded instantly to any question we had. They also recommended a private chef who cooked an unforgettable dinner for us one evening—truly a highlight of our trip.

We couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Highly recommended!

Family of 6 plus a couple of the Childrens partners stayed…..and we had a fabulous time! Pool was excellent, as were the rooms and the location.

We especially loved playing Padel at a local complex, with other highlights being the private yoga teacher and chef that SpringVillas organised.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this villa with our friends and young children. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The villa was beautifully maintained and equipped with everything we could possibly need – from kitchen essentials to entertainment and comfort.

What really stood out was how accommodating and family-friendly the place was. They went above and beyond to ensure our babies were well taken care of, providing all the necessary baby gear and extras we didn’t even think to ask for. Any request we had was met with a prompt and helpful response, making us feel completely supported and at ease throughout our stay.

The space was perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together, and we left with such happy memories. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this villa to anyone, especially families traveling with young children.

There was 14 of us, from 70 to 4 and the villa was perfect, beach, restaurants, supermarket all within 10 minutes walk, we could not get over the quality of the food in the various restaurants, each meal was excellent.

The Villa is perfect and Spring Villas are a pleasure to deal with, I have no hesitation in recommending them as this is the second time we have used Spring Villas and hopefully will be using them again.

Fantastic villa and location

We went on holidays to this beautiful villa as a large family of parents, children and grandparents and we couldn't ask for more. The villa is well equipped and we had all the facilities we needed to have an amazing time. The pool was warm, the hot tub was very nice during the sunset / evening and both adults and children had lot of entertainment around the villa. All small issues where we needed help were promptly solved by Springvillas. The beach is within walking distance as well as restaurants, supermarkets, so we could spend a whole week without using the car that much. We still used it to explore the area a bit further away, which we recommend anyway. A big thanks to Springvillas team. The whole communication was great from the beginning of the booking until the end of our stay.

Overpriced and not practical for adults

Villa looks great but we found it not to be practical as it was missing some basic comfort features. Feel that it is overpriced for what you get. Villa seems more suitable for families with children rather than group of adults. Communication with Spring Villa team great.

Things to be aware of when booking:

- On arrival, told Air conditioning (AC) was not working in one upstairs bedroom. We were provided with a fan. It turned out during the stay that air conditioning in all upstairs bedrooms was not working well, and we were advised to use the hallway AC and leave all bedroom doors open. No compensation offered.

- Wifi is very poor. Told it is the best in the area but we struggled to play music when only one device was connected to the wifi.

- Not all bathrooms have toilet roll holders. We requested and were advised to use “shelves” provided. This is using window ledges behind the toilet or garbage can/bin. This is unhygienic. One freestanding toilet roll holder was later provided for master bedroom but not for all bathrooms that didn’t have any.

- Bathrooms do not have places to put bath towels. Advised to use handheld towel racks under the sink which are not available in all bathroom. We requested that towel ladders be provided. We were told this may not be possible but luckily provided the next day.

- Most bathroom shower trays are plastic and are wobbly/air bubbles when you step on them. They don’t seem sturdy and may break from daily use and breakage may be taken from deposit. We had to be very careful not to break.

- Pay detailed attention to pictures when booking (per response given to us by Spring Villa after our stay): Bedrooms do not have furniture like chairs, suitcase racks. Balconies have no furniture to sit and enjoy views. Gym and ping pong table are in garage which has no AC. It was too hot for us to use this area due to no AC Pool next door to hotel tennis court.

- Response from Spring Villa is that “villa was not built to be a holiday villa/hotel".

Thank you for your review Dipak. There's always room for improvements and we appreciate your inputs so we can address and improve where necessary.

Notwithstanding, Villa Solar do Mar has been rented for a few years already and most, if not all, the situations you raised have never been a practical issue to any other guests who have made full and enjoyable usage of the villa. This is the very first time that such situations are brought to our attention.

We totally accept and welcome your opinion but we'd like to highlight that your review and its rating of 2 stars (allegedly because of minor situations) sharply contrasts with the average experience of all guests who have been in the villa throughout the years. If the situations you have brought up were felt by most other guests, surely those situations would have already been reported to us several times and they would have been already addressed accordingly.

Regarding all the points, we'd like to clarify the following:

1. Among more than 10 AC units that the villa has, only one AC unit of one bedroom was not working at its fullest potential due to a part waiting replacing. This was promptly informed during check-in and a water cooled fan was already placed in that bedroom on your arrival, assuring an alternative solution. It is entirely not true that all upstairs AC units were not working well. Only one. You were suggested to open the door of the bedroom with the faulty AC unit during the day (when not being used), so that the upstairs hallway AC unit could help cooling that bedroom down further, if you wanted to. This was a mere suggestion to be more efficient.

According to the booking terms and conditions that you agreed with, such unforeseen situations might happen (just like in your house) and are duly foreseen in such conditions. Furthermore, an alternative cooling solution was provided so we don’t understand the complaint of not being offered a compensation.

2. The villa has an ADSL internet connection (5Mbps down / 1Mbps up). Speeds might vary and they are entirely out of our control. That’s the ISP responsibility. If, occasionally, you had problems with the internet speed, that’s up to the ISP infrastructure and unfortunately there’s nothing we can do about that. It is the only internet broadband service available in the area indeed. In all our villas we already have fiber connections available, however and unfortunately, this area is still not covered by fiber. Broadband mobile signal is not strong in the area as well so it is also not a good alternative at the moment.

3. In the toilets where there's no wall toilet roll holders, as mentioned there are other places where they are safely stored. Master bedroom has its own wall toilet roll holder so the one that was provided was not even meant for that bedroom. Nonetheless, we'll revise this matter and improve if necessary.

4. Bathrooms of all bedrooms have under the sink towel racks. Nonetheless, we provided further towels ladders as requested by you. We'll also revise this matter and improve if necessary.

5. Shower trays are the ones that can be seen in the pictures (made of mixed fiber) and were installed when the villa was built by its owner. SpringVillas is oblivious to this decision. You may have a preference for other kind of materials (that might feel more sturdy maybe) but the shower trays are entirely in normal working conditions, have never been a problem and none has broken so far. So, this seems to be only a matter of preference over the kind materials used when building the villa.

6. The furniture existing in the bedrooms are the ones that can be seen in the pictures. As you can see, there are no suitcase racks in the bedrooms for instance. In addition, there has never been any furniture in the balconies you mentioned (the balconies themselves are not even displayed in the pictures). With all respect, we don't understand why complaining for the nonexistence of furniture that is not either advertised nor displayed in any pictures. The gym and ping-pong table are underground where temperatures are always much cooler than the rest of the house, hence why it was never deemed necessary for those areas to have an AC unit. It is the 1st time a guest reports that such an area was "too hot". Therefore, we'll revise this matter and improve if necessary. There's never been an issue with having a neighbor tennis court next to the villa in the past.

7. We are sorry but our response to you was much more comprehensive and we addressed all your points one by one. The small part of our response that you are quoting “villa was not built to be a holiday villa/hotel” is because this villa (like most other villas actually) was not built or designed from scratch to function as such. It was later adapted to function as such and, therefore, somethings might work differently when compared to other places that were built from scratch with that purpose (such as a hotel).

We were to be 12 but only 10 traveled. This villa has to be seen to be believed, it was amazing. The size of it and the layout was wonderful, everyone had their own space when they needed it but the living space was huge and gave everyone time to relax together. The garden, pool , jacuzzi and pool table were huge hits with everyone. The garden and pool people were wonderful, they were very professionall. When we arrived within 10 minutes we were all in the pool, we couldn’t wait, now my only negatives, I was getting out of the pool and had a very bad slip on the tiles which left me in a lot of pain in my shoulder and back all week. Maybe a hand rail and a slip proof mat could be added to the top of the steps also another hand rail as you are coming up the steps into the house as they are quite high for people of certain ages. This was to be my husband and mine 50th wedding anniversary party with family, unfortunately he passed away in April but told us we still had to go and celebrate life together. The trip was bittersweet but he picked the house and we were all so glad he did because it was a wonderful family time together. Anyone who is lucky enough to rent this villa will have lovely memories to share together, the local supermarket, and restaurants were amazing, not one bad meal, and people were all so friendly. We went to Albuafera one day and couldn’t wait to get home and out of the crowds, lovely place but the peace and relaxed feeling of the villa made our holiday. Hopefully someday we will all be back.

The villa is very well maintained, and has everything you need - the kitchen is well equipped and there is everything to make sure it is a comfortable stay, including lots of towels. The space is great for up to 12 people, and the garden and pools were well looked after whilst we were there. Everything was clean when we arrived.

The communications with the team leading up to the holiday, during and after was excellent.

Our 3rd Stay At This Superb Villa

I booked the villa again after visiting in 2018 and 2019. The booking was for our family of 10 adults, 1 child and 1 baby. There was plenty of room for everyone, the pool and gardens is amazing and the centre for daytime gatherings. The hot tub and pool table are also great to use, as was the gym for my sons. I would recommend this villa for families seeking a large quality villa with walking distance to the beaches and about 5 restaurants.

The only downside is it would benefit from external soft seating in the shade. The whole process and dealings with SpringVillas was clear and professional. The villa manager Elena was very helpful and friendly when needed, and a big shout to the maintenance team, because the gardens and grounds are really magnificent and well maintained. We used Marisa and her team for an evening, where we had a lovely meal cooked for us all. I will probably try another villa with SpringVillas next year for a change but would consider coming back again.

Amazing modern villa with great pool & facilities

Booked for family group of 8 adults and 4 children, the accommodation, facilities and setting of Villa Solar do Mar made for an exceptional holiday experience for us and our extended family group. The wonderful pool proved the centre of activity for all. The well-equipped kitchen, dining and seating areas are orientated for outdoor enjoyment and the pool table in the living room was an added attraction. Located with a seaward view, the villa is within about 20 minutes walk to the sea and 15 minutes walk to the local supermarket, and Armacao de Pera, a small attractive seaside town, with a good selection of restaurants, is a 10 minute drive away. The facilities at the villa meant every age group was catered for and ours ranged from a 2-year old to grandparents. We availed of an option to have a meal catered and served in the villa. The food was delicious and made for wonderful memories.

Overall the quality and extent of accommodation combined with the support of Spring Villas staff meant we had all the backing to enjoy what is now regarded as a great family occasion. If we have a regret it is solely that we couldn't stay longer!

A beautiful villa in a good location being in walking distance of beaches, supermarket and a small selection of bars and restaurants.

The villa is clean and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, gorgeous well looked after grounds, a huge swimming pool and fabulous hot tub.

Everything was just as described, and full use was made of the pool table, table tennis and gym!

Second Return To This Wonderful Villa

This was our second return to this wonderful villa. We stayed here in September 2018 and have just returned from another amazing holiday there again in September 2019.

The villa is very spacious, modern and has all you would want in a luxury holiday villa. There are at least 7 restaurants in close proximity and a supermarket for all you need. Lovely beaches, great cycling routes but most of all a most amazing villa. If you are thinking about this villa and this area, don’t hesitate to consider Villa Solar Do Mar. Thanks to Spring Villa’s for a wonderful week in this stunning Property. We booked this as a surprise for my Mum’s 70th. There were 13 of us aged 1 to 70 and no one wanted to come home.

The villa is well equipped and within walking distance of beaches, supermarkets and restaurants. We took a short taxi ride to a traditional Portuguese restaurant in Porches. We also spent a day at Zoomarine which is great for children and the bus picks up at the Supermarket. Mostly we hung out by the pool with sea views!

The children loved the pool and the adults made good use of the BBQ and hot tub.

Elena and Silva from SpringVillas also presented my mother with a beautiful cake on her birthday which was a lovely gesture.

Would really recommend this Villa.

White bright wonderful summer Villa with huge pool

it was our fourth stay with SpringVillas and everything was perfect as usual.

The Villas of this company have a very high standard that you rarely can find anywhere else.

We were two families with three teenie girls and two boys aged 11.

The girls were very happy to take the two rooms in the ground floor because they were a bit separated from the other rooms so they had a lot of privacy and fun.

They loved to go up to the rooftop terrace by sunset to take some Instagram pics.

They boys liked the huge pool and the ping pong table .

The men estimated the well equipped fitness room.

The Villa is very near to two beaches which you can reach by foot.

Some evenings we put some fresh fish on the barbecue other evenings we walked to some restaurants nearby.

Each morning we bought some fresh rolls and chocolate croissant in the Intermaché supermarket which was only 7 minutes by foot .

We really enjoyed our holiday and will come back next year.

Beautiful Villa

We booked this Villa last year for three weeks and came back this year for almost two months in Feb/Mar. It is very well located and there is a good grocery store and restaurants close by. The Villa is outstanding and well furnished and equipped. The grounds and pool are regularly serviced to maintain its beauty. There are plenty of outdoor lounges and chairs by the pool.

Miguel has been so helpful to us (last year our vehicle conked out and Miguel and his family came to the rescue!). Silvia is the Housekeeper and she was always smiling and cheerful when she came to clean...we loved her and her daughter!

When the sun is shining this Villa is paradise.

Beautiful villa with high quality furnishings

We stayed in this beautiful villa in February 2018. I can highly recommend this villa for its lovely views towards the sea and high quality furnishings. No expense has been spared with the build quality and so much thought has gone into the interior design. The swimming pool is lovely and huge. There was also a hot tub which we used a lot.

There is plenty for teenagers and adults to do, with a selection of bikes, a pool table, ping pong and a fully equipped gym. For the little ones there is a play area with a slide, swing and a push-me-pull-me.

As this villa sleeps up to 16 people, there was plenty of cutlery and crockery, and the pans were huge. That is good if there are a lot of you, but there was only 3 of us and sometimes we just wanted to heat some milk in a small pan or heat something small. We had to use the huge pans so it would help if there was one or two smaller pans.

The management/ staff of Spring Villas were excellent with their correspondence and normally replied either immediately or within a couple of hours.

We got a taxi to the villa and hired a car locally from Europcar, which is a 5 minute walk away from the villa. Very handy for those who do not want to drive from the airport.

The beach at Praia da Senor da Roches was lovely and in February was very quiet. Slightly further is the Praia da Cova Redonda which is slightly bigger. It has lots of steps down (and obviously back up again!!!!)

We can recommend Restaurant Palmeiras opposite the Pestana Viking Hotel, which was quite lively the night we were there. The beach snack bar on Praia da Senora da Roches was not great and in fact our teenage daughter left her food as it was so bad. The intermarche supermarket is at the end of the road from the villa.

All in all, a lovely villa in a quiet village (Alporchinos) within walking distance of Armacao de Pera. We loved it so much we have booked again for next year!!

Stunning villa, perfect for families and groups

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday with friends at this beautiful modern, well equipped villa. It was great for families, but would be equally perfect for groups - with the heated pool, hot tub, pool table, table tennis, bikes and modern décor throughout the property. Pretty much everything that we needed was provided. There is a supermarket nearby and two beaches within easy walking distance (though the return journey is up a steep hill).

Miguel and Amelia were always contactable and on hand in the lead up to our holiday and while we were there and arranged our transfers and babysitters.

Our only suggestion would be that an outdoor lavatory might be good, as the children would come out of the pool and traipse through the villa with wet feet, making the floors slippery.

Other than that, we can not fault this villa and the service provided by Spring Villas.
